Artist Biography
Genavieve Gloria was born February 9, 1986 to Lori and Ernie Gloria. She grew up in Phoenix, Arizona and began art from an early age. She began with drawing, ceramics and painting before developing her skills as a photographer. Working with a third party traffic company, which heavily relied on camera and video equipment, sparked her interest in photography. Genavieve graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Photography in 2016. As photography became her primary source of self-expression, a new appreciation for nature and all it encompasses, formed. Using a Canon Rebel she has focused on trees in particular as her artistic muse for creativity. Form in the wilderness and even within the artifice of the city has been important and inspirational for her work.
